Google is offering 3,500 scholarships in its Career Certificates program to promote technological skills and generate job opportunities in Chile’s digital sector. The courses, such as IT support, data analysis, project management, and user experience design, provide skills necessary to succeed in the digital labor market, with 50% of the scholarships aimed at women. The scholarships will be awarded along with Digital Talent, a public-private initiative integrating companies, training institutions and government organizations. Google’s expansion of scholarships shows its commitment to developing digital talent in the country and to labor inclusion for women and young people. No prior experience is necessary to receive a scholarship, which will be available until June 14, 2023, via the online learning platform, Coursera. Google’s investment in Chile offers new opportunities and improves quality of life, contributing to Chile’s development as a digital hub in Latin America.
